| History and Backstory: Originally born Frank Jefferson, Insano Mano adopted his name trying to catch a wave into WCW during their "luchadore influx" some time back. WCW axed his gimmick saying it was 'too stupid'. But then they took El Dandy. Go fig. He's a high flyer and goes the extra mile to pull off the incredible spot, even if it risks personally injury. (Frank, obviously non-Mexican, thought his name was cool and even imagined it gave the perception that he was a "crazy man". Little did he know, since he's all anglo all the time, it is believed "Insano Mano" loosely translates to 'insane hands', which the commentator's gleefully make fun of every chance they get. Shhhhh, we're not going to tell him, we're having too many laughs with it. And this should teach him a lesson, just because you add an "o" to the end of a word, that does not make it Spanish.)
Costume: A Luchadore type mask with flowing Jushin Liger hair coming out the top of it. Festive ring tights/boots and an upper torso covered with tatoos.
Previous convictions: Claims deportation twice and a fence jumping incident where he was convicted for the untimely death of a Border Patrol agent that tried to nab him and suffered a heart attack. Mano did a year, so he says. |
